Kesaia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving business.

Kesaia's story

Kesaia earns a living for her family for many years through her weaving. She is a mother and a wife, and she is very dedicated to her business.

She weaves ta'ovala and mats, then sells them out to local and primarily overseas customers. Her daughters help her with her weaving, and she also has a group of women that weave for her. She usually travels overseas with her bundle of ta'ovala and mats and sells them there, but she has to send her weavings to her sister to market due to the lockdown.

Kesaia sees the loan as financial support to her business. It helps her purchase pandanus and also has use for her family. This loan is to buy their own vehicle for delivering her weaving and for family use. Her business is running very well, but transportation is the only factor that slows her business down, as they do not have a vehicle. Kesaia plans on keeping her business running to run a new one in addition.
