Tangikina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to hire workers to help with harvesting yams.

Tangikina's story

Tangikina is married to a farmer and has two children. Farming has been her family’s main source of income, so they have been very dedicated to this line of work. Tangikina and her family have been in business for quite some time since farming has helped to improve their quality of life. The money earned from selling crops is used to pay her children’s school fees. Her older son attends a university while her younger son is enrolled at an institution. The children also help with the farm work.

Tangikina and her husband are seeking financial support through the SPBD loan program since it will be helpful for their business. They grow different types of crops on their farm such as taro, cassava, and yams. Tangikina is requesting this loan in order to hire workers to help her husband with harvesting yams so that they can be exported overseas.
