Keima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase efficient pandanus for her weaving and also help with building their house.

Keima's story

This is Keima. She is a 45-year-old widow to her eight children. Her husband passed away many years ago, and Keima cares and provides for her children by her handiwork.

She is a weaver and she has been a weaver for many years. She and her children live at her sister's house. Keima and her sister runs a weaving business, where they weave taovala, mats and fihu and then sell it through social media to local and overseas buyers. She has been through a lot just for the wellness of her children. Keima taught her two eldest daughters how to weave so they can make their own living and provide for their own families.

She pays for her remaining children's school fees with the money she earn from her weaving. Keima and her children has a piece of land, and her plan is to build a house for her and her children so they can live independently. The construction has just started and this loan will contribute to the work. Some of the loan will help Keima purchase pandanus and some will be used for the construction.
