A loan helped to buy more Irish potatoes.

Bahoneza Tcb Group's story

Agnes is 45 years old and the leader of the Bahoneza TCB group, which translates to “Better Life" in English. The group members own different businesses and sell a variety of items.

Agnes is married and the mother of five children, aged between 5 and 24 years. For the past eight years, Agnes has been selling foodstuffs. She will use her portion of the loan to buy more Irish potatoes to sell within her community.

With the profits from her sales, Agnes will be able to provide for her family and pay her children's school fees. She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the group members. However, they were able to photograph Agnes, the group representative.
