Meerim's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some dairy cows in order to increase the volume of milk she sells.

Meerim's story

Meerim, 33, is a wife, mother and farmer. She has been engaged in farming for fifteen years. Through her hard work and thanks to her husband's support, Meerim owns 10 cows, 30 sheep, 3 horses and a 3.45-ha plot of irrigated land where she grows organic potatoes and clover.

Meerim has a supplier contract with a local milk processing plant. This allows her to invest continuously in her business. Having learned about the Bai Tushum Bank value added chain scheme for supplier loans, she is requesting a loan of 230,000 KGS. She would like to increase the volume of milk for sale, increase profits and reinvest the money. All transactions between Meerim, the bank and the plant will be made via a standing order.
