Benishyaka Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, maize flour, cooking oil and beans.

Benishyaka Cb Group's story

Jeannette is a 24 year old mother of 2 children aged between 3 and 7 years. For the past four years, she has owned a grocery store.

Jeannette is the leader of the group called Benishyaka CB, which in English means “People with Zeal." Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeannette will use her loan to buy more rice, maize flour, cooking oil and beans to sell in her community and meet her customers' demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to pay school fees for her children and also be able to improve her family's standards of living.

In the future, Jeannette plans to expand her business. She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego Bank was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative, Jeanette.
