Inshuti Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans to sell in her community.

Inshuti Cb Group's story

Melena is a 31-year-old mother of four children who range in age from 2 to 10. Her husband is a taxi driver. For the past six years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Melena is the leader of the group named Inshuti CB, which means “friends” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within and outside their community.

Melena will use her loan to buy more beans to sell in her community. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to secure medical insurance for her family. She is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
