A loan helped to invest in the purchase of chicken, pork, cold cuts, and a new refrigerator.

Tivisay Alexandra's story

Tivisay is a 35-year-old entrepreneur who lives in the Soledad municipality with her family. She has been working for the past five years selling chicken, pork, and cold cuts. From very young, she learned the trade from other colleagues, selling farm products on the street.

Little by little, Tivisay's clientele expanded; she specialized in distributing bigger amounts to restaurants and supermarkets. She has helped her family economy by working from Monday to Sunday, and she is seeing the fruits of her sacrifice. This activity is her only source of income and is the one allowing her to contribute to the house support.

Because of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, Tivisay's work worsened because of biosecurity measures and her income diminished drastically. This is why, she is requesting her first loan with Fundacion Santo Domingo to invest in the purchase of chicken, pork, cold cuts, and a new refrigerator. Support her in her business loan.
