Patience's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more used clothes to sell.

Patience's story

This is 49-year-old Patience from Liberia. She is married and has four children, three of whom are still in school and all live at home. Patience attended school up to college level.

She runs a business where she sells used clothes, which she has been operating for several years. She learned how to sell by herself and sells eight hours a day. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site.

To maintain her business, Patience requested a loan through BRAC Liberia and Kiva to buy more used clothes to sell in order to increase her income. She likes her business because it helps to support her family, and she is proud of her business because it allows her to send her children to school.

Her dreams for the future are to build her house and to continue providing her children's education. She wishes to say thanks.
