Rogina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mangoes, duck eggs, banana and sweet potatoes.

Rogina's story

Rogina is 45 with four school-aged children. They live in Cebu, Philippines. Rogina is a hard-working woman. She sells different kinds of snacks which are mostly favored by people relaxing at the streets. She sells mangoes, banana cue (deep-fried banana in caramelized sugar), and camote cue (deep-fried sweet potato in caramelized sugar). She also sells balut (a fertilized duck egg boiled and eaten in the shell while still warm). These are mostly the favorite snacks in the afternoon by the locals.

She is asking for a loan to buy more stocks of mangoes, duck eggs, banana and sweet potatoes. With a loan, Rogina is confident that her business will be more prosperous. She will use her profits for the school fees of her four children.
