Muong Phang 45 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fingerling to raise and sell.

Muong Phang 45 Group's story

Com is almost 60 and married. She has children who are married and moved out of the home. Com and her husband live in a small traditional stilt house in a village of Dien Bien province. This province is in northwest of Vietnam, where agriculture is the main source of income for people.

Although Com’s getting on in years, she still works hard to make extra income to pay costs when she is older and is ill. In addition, she can help her children when they need. Because old age has hampered her work, she gets low production.

For many years, she has been supported by the ACE Program and has been trained about agriculture by ACE’s officer, so she decided to borrow her sixth loan from the Anh Chi Em Program to expand her fish farming by buying more fingerlings [young fish]. With 3 years of experience in fish farming, she knows fish farming is better for her because fish are easier to raise and require less time to take care than other animals.

Com hopes this investment will be good, like the previous investments. Money from this investment will bring better living conditions for Com’s family and can be used in the unexpected incidents.
