Johana Elizabeth's story

Johana Elizabeth lives with her family in La Sequita de Crucita, close to a popular beach. People there make a living farming and by industrial as well as sports fishing. The region's cuisine is quite varied, featuring shellfish, plantain, peanuts, and more.
Johana Elizabeth runs a small store from her house where she sells rice, sugar, beans, ice cream, etc. She works every day and also sells Yanbal catalog products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and ladies' accessories). She also runs errands on her motorbike, offering transportation of various types. In addition, she prepares ice cream treats in a variety of flavors. She sells them from her motorbike. Together with her parents she owns a few billiard tables which she tends to in the afternoon and on weekends.
Social isolation due to fear of contagion and restrictions on leaving her house in the beginning of the pandemic left Johana Elizabeth without work. urrently she is following safety protocols. This loan is to purchase dairy products, fruit, canned tuna, cooking oils, detergent, pay for motorbike maintenance, makeup, shampoo, etc. Her dream is to have a car for transportation and for her family to continue to be in good health.
