Umutara Twitezimbere Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sorghum and plantains.

Umutara Twitezimbere Cb Group's story

Vestine is a 49-year-old mother of five children, aged 9 and 22 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past twelve years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Vestine is the leader of the group named Umutara Twitezimbere Cb, which in English means “Let's develop ourselves.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within their community.

Vestine will use her loan to buy more sorghum and plantains so she can sell within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will enable her to provide school fees to her children.

Vestine is thankful for your support,

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
