Ubwuzuzanye Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sorghum and beans.

Ubwuzuzanye Cb Group's story

Jenia is a 50-year-old mother of four children, who are between 12 and 24 years old. Her husband is a construction worker, and for the past six years, Jenia has been selling foodstuffs.

Jenia is the leader of a group named Ubwuzuzanye Cb, which in English means “Togetherness.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within the community.

Jenia will use her loan to buy more sorghum and beans so she can sell these within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will enable her to grow her business.

Jenia is thankful for your support.

Note: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
