Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fresh fruits and vegetables to sell.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

Nineteen women got together to be able to get their families ahead and give them a better quality of life so they don't suffer any type of hardship. They're also in the poverty-elimination program, in which they all make an effort to be able to overcome their poverty.

Ana is one of them. She sells fruits and vegetables to be able to help her husband with the household income. She describes herself as a persevering and selfless person who doesn't give up and who saw an opportunity to be able to improve through her work.

Ana has undoubtedly chosen to improve herself, which is why she decided to be part of the group, which will be a big help to her.

She's requesting this loan to buy fresh fruits and vegetables to sell so she can meet customer demand and continue with her work as usual.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
