Adam's story

When I was four years old, I lost my own brother at the very young age of 1 to cancer. While I was only 4 at the time, too young to understand the gravity of that situation, it impacts me as a big brother every day of my life, and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. The “K” in my business name is for my brother, Kirk. I always knew that I wanted to own my own business and be my own boss but I also knew I needed to use my business as a way to give back to children suffering from illnesses like my brother. It has always been my intention to build my business up and contribute part of my revenue to children’s hospitals in the United States. Recently, I was involved in a tragic automobile accident that resulted in the loss of life of a 14-year-old boy. While it was no fault of my own I continued to ask God why? I then realized, I have a platform that I created with my business, that allows me the opportunity to give back. As my business expands, I will give back part of my profits to not only support children’s hospitals in honor of my brother but also to victims of tragic loss in honor of the 14-year-old boy and his grieving family. I am a single father of the most wonderful son a man could ask for. I was blessed with my son one year after establishing my business, and as a result, I had to figure out a way to restructure what was already a 24-hour job. I am excited to expand my business now and focus on our mission to give back to our community.
