Luis Alberto's story

Luis Alberto is a small entrepreneur who is 37 years old and lives with his wife in the city of Cartagena de Indias. He has a business of selling fried snacks and juices. Luis started his business approximately five years ago because he wanted to provide a better quality of life for his family. He used some of his savings to start this business. As time passed, he gained recognition in the neighborhood for doing good work. He is a responsible person who offers his services every day to his main customers, which include people from surrounding areas, his neighbors, and passersby.

Due to national government mandates and safety issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Luis had to suspend his business activities, which drastically affected his sales and profits. He is now applying for his first Kiva loan through Fundación Santo Domingo in order to increase the operating capital for his business. He will buy an oven and a supply of ingredients such as flour, eggs, cold cuts, and other products. This will help to increase his sales and his profits. Please support his business loan.
