Badenya Group's story

Lamine is the man with his hand on the box. Lamine is a 40-year-old Malian businessman living in a rural town in Mali. He is married and father of five children ages 4 to 18, of whom four go to school. His wife gardens to earn a living. Lamine is illiterate.

His occupation is based on the trade of various items such as tea, sugar, rubber, oil, etc. He does not have the means to effectively run his business. This is why Lamine has turned to an RMCR loan. He stocks up on merchandise at the grand market of Bamako and resells his items at the local market of his community. With the RMCR loan, he will buy more of a variety of items including tea, sugar, oil, and rubber, since shoes are his revenue-generating trade. His dream is to be able to help his children succeed in their studies. He anticipates a profit of 350,000 FCFA after loan repayment.
