Kuña Guapa Group's story

This group is called Kuña Guapa, which means "hardworking woman," since that is what they are. It is a committee that is in its seventh cycle of the poverty elimination program; and additionally, the women are within the poverty elimination program.

Idalina is one of them. She is a very enterprising person with desires of self-improvement and dreams of getting ahead. This is why she decided to join the group and work together with her peers in order to be able to achieve her goals.

She is married and the mother of a family. She looks for ways of being able to offer better living conditions to her children; and together with her husband, they work tirelessly.

Idalina engages in clothing sales and mentions that previously she engaged in other work. But thanks to the help of the foundation, she decided to get started in this new work so that she could be independent. Thus, she is very grateful.

She requests this loan for the purchase of a varied selection of clothing items for ladies and gentlemen, so as to be able to continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this loan is a group loan. A group photo was not possible due to the avoidance of gathering people together, because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
