Emmanuel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to open a new store in the nearby center to serve more refugees and host community clients.

Emmanuel's story

Emmanuel is a passionate Rwandan entrepreneur who runs a grocery store in the host community of the Mugombwa refugee camp. Emmanuel is also a husband and a father to six children. His business is a big support to the family's welfare.

Emmanuel started his business to provide different goods at an affordable price to the refugees and the people from the host community. He managed to improve his business, and opened an equity bank agency that helps refugees to have access to their monthly UNHCR stipends. Both businesses helped him improve his life as well as the refugees and people from the host community.

A loan to Emmanuel will allow him to open a new grocery store in the nearby center, and serve more refugees and host community clients. This will boost his sales and allow him to gain more clients and satisfy their needs as well. With this loan, Emmanuel will also be able to provide job opportunities to the people from the community and improve the welfare of his family.
