Silas's story

Silas is a multi-entrepreneur who has grown his business to become the most reliable and welcoming in the community. He has built such a great connection with his customers that even some small grocery stores buy their inventory from his shop.

Silas is also known to be a wholesaler of maize flour which also attracts a huge number of customers. Silas has been able to cover all his home expenses and pay school fees for his five children. He has also been able to purchase his business premises which reduced his monthly costs.
The business is located near one of Rwanda’s refugee camps which has really helped refugees have easy access to quality products at an affordable price. Silas has also provided jobs to 10 refugees to help him run the business.

Silas has recently secured a contract to supply maize flour to a factory. He wants to buy a fully-functioning machine to help him produce a large quantity of maize flour. He also plans to hire two more refugees to work on the machine and deliver the maize flour. He is positive that this will make his business grow and also create exposure so that he is able to secure more contracts in the future. Silas is hardworking and passionate about his business.
