A loan helped to buy plots of avocado to restart her job.

Yubeisy Del Carmen's story

Yubeisy is a 29-year old, Venezuelan small business owner. She lives in the region of Urcuqui and moved to Ecuador 3 years ago in search of new opportunities, personal and professional growth, and a better quality of life for her family.

In Venezuela, she was studying and working as a sales developer. Due to the difficult situation in her country, she traveled to Ecuador with her mother and daughter. Upon arriving in Ecuador, she started to work in the fields, planting beans. With a lot of effort, she continued in agriculture and identified the opportunity to get work capital and start planting and selling avocados.

In the last few months, as a consequence of the confinement of Covid 19, she had to put her work capital towards maintaining her family's expenses. Now, she is asking for a loan to recapitalize her small business and buy a plot of avocados. Yubeisy is very thankful for the opportunity that is being given to her and it will help her to consolidate her small business.
