Monica Lorena's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy soil amendments, fertilizer, seeds, and other inputs.

Monica Lorena's story

Mónica, an 18-year-old young woman, lives in her parents' little house in the parish of Maldonado. Mónica learned farm labor at a very young age thanks to the teachings of her parents, who taught her and her siblings how to take care of animals and the tropical fruit plants that grow in the area.

Her family being foreigners in this country, they had to suffer many hardships to be able to survive, but they achieved it with a lot of work and great effort.

That's why Mónica, when she finished high school and with the goal of earning her own income, started with her own crops. This work has enabled her to help her family with some money.

She wants to continue to improve her business, so she's requesting some help to buy soil amendments, fertilizer, seeds, and other inputs, hoping to improve her income that way.
