A loan helped to purchase fabrics.

Binta's story

Binta runs a business. She is 49 years old, married and mother of one child who goes to secondary school.

Binta sells fabrics for men and women. She purchases her merchandise in Gambia and resells them in her neighborhood. She always sells fabrics of good quality which her customers appreciate. Binta does not keep any fabrics. She delivers them as soon as they arrive to fulfill all of her customers' orders.

Her business is currently going well, she is gaining more and more customers and sometimes has difficulty fulfilling all of the orders. She is therefore asking for a loan of 225000 FCFA to be able to purchase more fabrics. This will allow her to satisfy all of the customers' orders and to expand her business well.

Commerce is a noble and profitable business. Binta earns a living with dignity, pays for her child's schooling fees and covers a portion of her family's expenses.

Binta dreams of becoming a big seller of fabrics and gain financial autonomy.
