Aida Teresa's story

Aida Teresa, 57, is a micro-entrepreneur resident of the city of Cartagena where she lives with her spouse. Her business is making and selling bread.

This commercial activity began more than eight years ago when she noted the high consumption of bread in her area and adjacent neighborhoods. She searched for the way to benefit from the situation by supplying and selling bread locally, so she found a good provider from whom she buys the bread wholesale to then sell and distribute to the residents and retailers of the area. This business is her only source of income. However, due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, her level of work deteriorated due to biosafety issues and her income decreased drastically.

She is requesting her first Kiva loan from Fundación Santo Domingo in order to invest in the purchase of flour, cheese, sweets, salt, butter and more. Please support her business loan.
