Eduardo Antonio's story

Eduardo Antonio, 52, is a micro-entrepreneur resident of the city of Cartagena where he lives with his spouse. He is in the business of garment printing and selling, which he's done for over seven years.

He began his business by learning the printing activity in a clothing store, where he observed all the techniques needed and obtained sufficient experience to open his own store and start to generate more income to better contribute towards the household expenses. Later, with some capital and together with his spouse they acquired the necessary tools to do the work.

To date, there has been great impact in the area where they live because it is the only business for this work and it has potential customers such as young people, relatives and friends among others. However, due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, his level of work deteriorated due to biosafety issues and his income decreased drastically. For this reason, he is requesting his first Kiva loan through Fundación Santo Domingo in order to invest in the purchase of sweatshirts and printing material. Please support his business loan.
