Karla Anahi's story

This is Karla, 18, who lives with her parents. She is known to be a kind, friendly, charismatic and sociable person. She is studying with the support of her parents as well as her own income from her business. She works as a day laborer and planting potato seeds, an activity that she began three years ago with her savings. This has allowed her to meet some of the household expenses in addition to paying for her studies.

Karla wants to grow her business and is therefore applying for a loan to increase her working capital in order to buy inputs such as organic compost, fertilizers, manure and more. She looks forward to a good harvest from her crops.
