Tuzamurane Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more cassava flour, cooking oil, and sugar.

Tuzamurane Tcb Group's story

Francine is 40 years old and a mother of five children between the ages of nine and 19. Her husband is a farmer. For the past 20 years, she has been managing a grocery store.

Francine is the leader of the group Tuzamurane TCB, which means “let’s develop ourselves” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Francine will use her portion of the loan to buy more cassava flour, cooking oil, and sugar to sell in her community. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some savings and be able to expand her business. She is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
