Twisungane Cb Group's story

Antoinette is a 40-year-old mother of five children who are aged between 3 and 14-years-old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past three years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Antoinette is the leader of the group called Twisungane CB (which in English means “Let's work together”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Antoinette will use her loan to buy more Beans and Rice to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to expand her business in other communities and also provide medical insurance to the family .

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph Antoinette, the group representative.
