A loan helped to buy cattle for fattening.

Nicholas's story

Nicholas is a farmer who raises cattle and engages in crop production. He has seven children from one wife.

For many years, Nicholas has been actively involved in mixed farming. His primary sources of income have been selling milk and crops. Nicholas has managed to take care of his family with the income from selling milk. However, as his children progress to higher levels of learning, the income from selling milk is no longer enough to sustain his family. This is the reason why he ventured into the cattle trade. Due to the quarantine and lockdown, his output has decreased. Therefore, he turned to UGAFODE to help increase his capital. Nicholas is seeking financial support to buy more cattle for fattening, which will translate into more income.

With this loan, the future of his children is more secure since he will be able to pay their school fees with the additional profit that he earns.
