Ufalme Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 3 sacks of corn flour, 1 bag of mustard and wheat as well as wood, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Ufalme Group's story

Ms. Josee, 55, is a client of the microfinance institute Hekima, and manages the village group ' Ufalme'. She is married, and a mother of 11 children — all of whom go to school. Her partner is unemployed.

Josee sells locally produced drinks. She has been in this business since 2006 with the start up funds received from her husband. Later, she was involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which time it gradually grew.

With this new loan, Josee is going to stock up on 3 sacks of corn flour, 1 bag of mustard and wheat as well as wood, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge in this business is the lack of customers.

Josee would like her children to continue their studies, and for her to feed her family. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and their partners for their support towards non-bankable entrepreneurs in the context of the Covid-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the group leader due to social distancing measures in place because of Covid-19.
