Karibu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy traditional cloths and supplies for tailoring, thus strengthening her initial capital.

Karibu Group's story

Florence is a client of Hekima IMF and she chairs the groupe villageoise named Karibu. She is married, 30 years old, and the mother of two children who attend school.

She's a seamstress. She started her business four years ago with the start-up capital she received from her husband. Afterward, she became involved with the Hekima program to support her business; it has evolved progressively during this time. With this new loan, she will buy traditional cloths and supplies for tailoring, thus strengthening her initial capital. The challenges her business faces are tied to state taxes.

She would love for her children to continue studying and for her business to develop. She would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they offer business owners in the context of this COVID-19 global crisis.

The picture is only of the group leader in keeping with social distancing measures adopted due to COVID-19.
