Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some products made from alpaca wool to stock her souvenir business.

Esperanza Group's story

Andrea is an enterprising 25 year old woman who is a single mother with two children. Everyone elected her to be president because she is very nice. We can see her in the photograph marked by an arrow. Gladys and Lilian are on the far right holding their children.

All the members of this bank got together to request a loan through Sembrar Sartawi IFD. They will all invest the requested funds into their businesses and projects. They hope to improve their quality of life and that of their families by means of this loan.

Andrea has been selling souvenirs in Villazón for the last six years. It is a commercial zone that is expecially active because it is on the border between Bolivia and Argentina. She is requesting this loan to buy traditional Bolivian sweaters and shawls made from alpaca wool.
