Unyenyekevu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to get fresh supplies of second-hand shoes to boost her original capital.

Unyenyekevu Group's story

Pascasie is a customer of Hekima IMF and president of the Unyenyekevu village group. She is 41 years old, married and mother to seven children, who are all at school. Her husband is a tailor.

She sells shoes and began her business five years ago with starting capital received from her husband. Later on she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which has meanwhile been developing steadily.

With this new loan, she is going to get supplies of second-hand shoes, and this will boost her original capital. The challenge in her business is linked to the lack of merchandise.

She would like her children to continue studying and to be able to feed her family. Finally she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to business owners who do not have access to bank funding in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is of the group leader only, in respect of Covid-19 social distancing measures.
