A loan helped Purchase another buffalo for the dairy business.
Rozina's Group's story
Rozina is the wife of A. K.. They both reside in a city called Multan, which is famous for its hot weather and history, in Pakistan. A very caring and happy-natured lady, Rozina stays at home; she loves to cook food for her family and take care of them. She manages the household chores in an efficient way and gives the required time to her kids. Her 55-year-old husband belongs to a dairy business. He has a buffalo that produces 8 to 10 kilograms of milk per day. He sells 1kg of milk for approximately 45 Pakistan rupees (PKR), so his average income is 360-450 PKR per day. He is the only breadwinner of his family and this makes him worry about how his family would survive if something happened to him. Therefore, Rozina has applied for a loan from Asasah for her husband. With the loan amount, he will buy a dairy cow and increases his milk-selling business. The purpose of buying a cow is to sell more milk and save money for the rainy days. The saved amount will help them to run the financial circle smoothly and will improve the living standard of the family as well.
