Nurgul's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase dairy cows in order to increase the volume of milk she sells.

Nurgul's story

This wonderful woman is Nurgul. She is 41 years old, married, and all her children are minors. She has a secondary-school education and is kind and caring by nature. She has been farming and raising livestock as her family's main source of income since 2000. Thanks to Nurgul's tirelss work and her husband's help on the farm, her farm now has 4 cows, 10 sheep, 3 horses and 1 hectare of irrigated land on which she grows organic alfalfa.
She has a contract to supply milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This will allow her to invest in her farm on an ongoing basis. Having learned that she can reveive a loan from Bai Tushum Bank using the contact as collateral as a "value chain" product, she has requested a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of dairy cows witht he aim of increasing her volume of milk sales. Payments for milk from the factory will be deposited directly into Nurgul's bank account, and loan payments will be automatically deducted. Revenue from the loan will help further develop the farm.
