Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fresh fruits and vegetables for sale.

Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

The group is called Mujeres Trabajadoras [Working Women] and it began with the effort of neighbours and friends from the city of Ita. They are in the first cycle of the women's committee program, with the purpose that all can work together and with this be able to get their loved ones ahead.

One of the members is Maria. She is married and a housewife. She helps with income for her home by selling vegetables and fruits on the street. This business started with the purpose of having her own income and to help with family's expenses. She also mentions that her goal is to increase the variety of her products and improve their quality.

Maria is a very hard-working person who was very dedicated since she was young. That is why she is not afraid of challenges and works tirelessly to help her loved ones.

She asks for this loan to buy fruits and vegetables so that she can stock up and continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. The group photo was not possible in order to avoid overcrowding of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
