Fanta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more locks, nails, wire, rope and other items to sell.

Fanta's story

Fanta is 50 years old. She is married along with six children. All of her children are currently attending school while living at home. She never had the opportunity to attend school. Her main source of income is business; mainly selling locks, nails, wire, ropes and other items. She started a few years back with an objective of increasing her business.

She has applied for a loan from BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to purchase more locks, nails, wire, rope and other items to sell and increase her business. She is hopeful that with increased inventory, her sales will also improve, thus bettering her finances to provide for her family. She learned the trade from her sister and started selling with some financial help from her husband. Fanta is grateful for the financial support from the funders that will boost her business. In the future she wants to become a big businesswoman and to build houses.
