A loan helped to buy corrugated metal sheets, cement, and wooden beams to improve the roof of her house.

La Fusion Group's story

Iris Elizenda is 51 years old and lives with her husband and children, ages 15 and 23. Their work is their main source of household income.

Iris works as a household domestic, a job that she learned at a very young age. She is able to generate income to help with the household responsibilities. Iris is an enterprising person who always looks to provide the best for her family. She wants to improve her home, but she does not have enough income to make this investment.

For this reason, Iris is requesting a loan to buy corrugated metal sheets, cement, and wooden beams to improve the roof of her house. Her goal is to prevent water from seeping into her home during the winter season, which will prevent her belongings from being damaged. Iris dreams of having a better home, providing her children with a better quality of life, and having a good future.

Iris is a member of the solidarity group “La Fusion” along with Maribel, Candido, Emma, Walter, and Cesar. They are responsible and enterprising people who seek to support their families.
