Jose Francisco's story

Jose Francisco is the head of his family and the person responsible for supporting his home. He has had 16 children in his 58 years of life. He is known as a hard-working man who is faultless in his work. He has a workshop where he works as a cabinet maker and has done so since he immigrated to Costa Rica. With his savings, he decided to open this business and his life partner has helped him run it for the past fifteen years.

Jose Francisco has applied for a Kiva and MiCrédito loan to purchase wood, nails, varnish, and canvas so he can offer his clients high-quality work. He hopes that his business becomes known throughout the country and that in the future, he can open his own workshop.
