Yurika Paola's story

Yurika Paola is a 29-year-old microentrepreneur and a resident of the city of Cartagena who lives with her family.

She has had a store as a business for 4 years. Her business idea was born since the opportunity came up to establish a fruit and vegetable store on the street, seeing the need of the neighbors in the sector to have easy access to these products. So, Yurika Paola decided to have her own store and, in this way, she is able to satisfy the people's needs in the sector and also those of her family.

This commercial activity is her only source of income and is what allows her to contribute to the sustenance of her household. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which appeared on a global level, her work level dropped due to biosafety reasons and her income diminished drastically.

It is for this reason that she asks for her first Kiva loan, with Fundación Santo Domingo, with the goal of investing in the purchase of meat, vegetables, and beverages in general. Support her in her business loan.
