Iharilalao's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 5 piglets, 2000 kilos of feed, and inputs for rice farming.

Iharilalao's story

Iharilalao is a 44-year-old woman. She has a partner and 2 children. The family live in a rural area and own a brick house. As with many people in her village, Iharilalao farms produce and livestock. The family owns farmland. Iharilalao also rents out an apartment. Her spouse is an agricultural technician.

Iharilalao is a good partner of Vahatra's. She has already benefited from several loans which have gone up in value and which have enabled her to develop her business. She decided to take out loans for her business because she wanted to one day build a more modern house. She has been able to accomplish her goal and is very proud. She still wants to develop her business and continues to take out loans.

She is asking the lenders for their help to buy 5 piglets, 2000 kilos of feed, and materials to refurbish her pigsty. She will also buy inputs for rice farming: 40 kilos of seeds, 80 kilos of chemical fertiliser, and 20 carts' worth of biological fertiliser. All of her livestock and produce is delivered to the collectors.

She will use her profits to finish off construction on the family home.
