Sesilia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry bark for her business selling soft tapas.

Sesilia's story

Meet Sesilia. She is a struggling mother of three, due to her husband passing away and leaving her their children to raise on her own. She and her kids moved back to her parents' home and live there.

She runs a business selling soft tapas, where she buys mulberry bark from the market, softens it, and sells it to tapa-making women in the village and also sells some at the local market to random customers.

She does not do tapa-making, but she exchanges soft tapas with whole tapas with some women and she sells those tapas also for income for her children.

Having her husband pass away was not only a burden to her but also to her children and she is trying her best to fulfil their needs to comfort them in the loss of their father.

She plan to use this loan to buy mulberry bark for her business to operate.
