Baraka's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase ingredients to produce bread in bulk and increase her profit margin.

Baraka's story

Baraka is a 28-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband in the Nanumba North Municipal district in Ghana. She operates a bakery. She is requesting a Kiva loan to purchase ingredients to produce bread in bulk to increase her profit margin. She plans to use the profits she earns to reinvest into her business.

She will repay the 'social interest' on her loan by volunteering 2 and half hours per week as a CAMFED Transition Guide, supporting other young women who are just entering the CAMFED Association by delivering an orientation course with weekly sessions on topics including health, financial literacy, and career guidance.
