Thanh Luong 44 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy piglets and chickens for raising and selling.

Thanh Luong 44 Group's story

Ngoc, 35 years old, is an ethnic Thai woman living in an old and temporary house in a remote village in northwest Vietnam. She is divorced and has a son who is in sixth grade.

Every day she works on her farm with some small-scale agricultural production such as growing rice and raising chickens, ducks and pigs. She always tries to work hard to earn as much income as possible, because that way she can cover her family life, pay her son's school fees and gradually save to build a new house. A solid house is her long-time dream because her family only has two people. A solid house will help make everything safer.

Recently, she requested a third loan at Anh Chi Em microfinance program to buy piglets and ducks to raise. Ngoc has five years of experience in animal husbandry so she is also confident that this investment will be as successful as the previous ones.

Ngoc thanked the Kiva lenders and Anh Chi Em for making it easier for her to access loans, and she wishes that her family will soon get out of poverty and that her son will have a full education.
