Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, fruits, meat, and other products to stock up her store.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group called Mujeres Unidas was formed when friends and neighbors from the city of Caaguazu got together. They are searching for ways to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are also in the poverty elimination program, where all of the members struggle to improve themselves and to forge ahead.

Señora Eva is one of the members. She is married and the mother of two children. She is a merchant who has a little store with an established clientele. With her work she helps her husband with the household income so that they can provide their children with a better quality of life, a life without hardships.

She is requesting this loan for the purchase of various products for her store, such as vegetables, baked goods, fruits, meat, and other products to stock up her business.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the need to avoid getting people together during the Covid-19 pandemic.
