Nueva Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fruits and vegetables such as apples, oranges, bananas, lettuce, beets, parsley, chard, and other produce.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The committee named “Nueva Esperanza” was started because one of the members took the initiative to invite her friends from the neighborhood. This group is in its first loan cycle.

One of the members is Mirian, who is married and a mother. She sells fruits and vegetables from her house. Mirian says that she came up with this idea so that she could help her husband with the household expenses. Her goal for the future is to have her own green grocery.

Mirian is an enterprising person who never gives up and looks for ways to continue helping her family so that they can have a better quality of life. She is requesting a loan to buy fruits and vegetables such as apples, oranges, bananas, lettuce, beets, parsley, chard, and other produce.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
