but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat, vegetables, condiments, bread, and other products.

Luz's Group's story

This group is called Ñepytyvo, which means to help yourself. These women are from the city of Asunción, where they all give their best to offer their families better living conditions. They are a part of the poverty elimination program.

Among them is Luz, who makes and sells foods, which she hygienically prepares herself every day starting early in the morning, and then goes out to sell.

She mentions that due to the pandemic, her business was a bit affected, but now it has been improving thanks to her effort and constant fight.

She requested this loan to buy raw ingredients to make her foods, such as meat, vegetables, condiments, bread, and other products.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo while avoiding gatherings of people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
