Mamojalefa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting, and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner, and saves money.

Mamojalefa's story

Mamojalefa is a 41-year-old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house with 7 other family members, including 4 children. Mamojalefa relies on family support and struggles with insufficient income and buying multiple fuels. She spends most of her energy expenses on electricity, paraffin, and gas, which cost up to LSL 365 per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs, like phone charging.

Mamojalefa bought the ACE1 cook stove to help her and her family save the money spent every month on fuel and also to help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE1 clean cook stove is biomass and solar powered.
