Amneh's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour and other material for stuffing for her business making pastries.

Amneh's story

Amneh is a Jordanian woman in her fifties and a mother of four kids. Her husband is retired from the military and works as an employee in a private company.

Two of her children are still at university, and Amneh is trying her best to maintain their needs and expenses in addition to the family's basic needs.

As they’re a family of six, the husband’s salary is not enough and needs some extra income to help. This encouraged Amneh to find something that she can do from home because it’s not that easy at her age to work in a regular job anywhere.

She has a really good taste in food and everyone loves her cooking and the way she makes all food. So, this inspired her to start a business making pastries. It was not possible to start without borrowing a 1,500 JOD loan to buy amounts of flour, baking soda, and other material she needs for the stuffing.

Despite it being very challenging for her to stand in front of the oven for a long time, her goal of providing her children with a good education is her motivation to pass any barrier or challenge.
